Sarah is a long time Bloomington resident dedicated to the wellness of her community
Sarah enjoys the rewards and challenges in helping patients find their personal path to wellness. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds a license to practice acupuncture in the state of Indiana.
In her continuing education studies, Sarah has completed the course “Acupuncture for the Cancer Patient” offered by the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She has also studied Qigong and Tai Chi with Roger Jahnke and is enthusiastic about sharing this wonderful practice with her patients. Continually adding to her wealth of knowledge, she has also pursued additional studies in Advanced Tongue Diagnosis and maintaining wellness through nutrition
Sarah grew up in Indiana and has lived in Bloomington since 1998. In addition to her acupuncture training, she has also completed a Bachelors degree in music, magna cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters degree in music, magna cum laude, from Indiana University. She has also trained in the martial arts for over 18 years and assists her husband in running a Martial Arts school in Bloomington, Ryukyu Kyusho Family Martial Arts.
Sarah is an active freelance horn player in the Indianapolis area and also enjoys running, qigong, tai chi, biking and is always kept busy enjoying her twin boys.
A Virginia native, Mica is currently serving the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music as the Associate Instructor of French Horn while in pursuit of their Doctor of Music degree. Mica enjoys Southern comfort food, cats, and all of the beautiful nature Bloomington has to offer.
Mica Redden grew up in the Shenandoah Valley nestled in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. They received their Bachelor of Music degree in Horn Performance at Virginia Commonwealth University, and their Master of Music degree in Horn Performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Their teachers include Dale Clevenger, Jeff Nelsen, and Patrick Smith. Currently, Mica is the IU Jacobs School of Music as the Associate Instructor of Horn while completing their Doctor of Music degree.
Mica is a sub with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, performs frequently with the Indianapolis Opera, Evansville Philharmonic, and Owensboro Symphony, and has performed with The Who, The Beach Boys, and Weird Al Yankovich.
They maintain an active studio career in Indianapolis recording frequently for Disney and for music publishing companies such as Hal Leonard, Carl Fischer, Shawnee Press, and Alfred Music.
An active chamber musician, Mica joined horn quartet RÜM (formerly Skylark Quartet) in 2017. The group was a featured artist at the VCU and Eastern Illinois University Horn Days, respectively, in 2018. And, in 2019, Mica founded the horn and steel drum sensation, Julia's Child.
In their time away from the horn, Mica is an active composer and arranger whose works have been performed worldwide. Favorite hobbies include spending time with their husband, snuggling all the cats, and baking sourdough bread.

Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi – this is one of the certification organization for Tai Chi and Qigong instruction of which Sarah is certified to teach Qigong and Tai Chi.
